Advocacy Officer
Job Ref: AO/02/08
Hours: 17.5 hours a week
Salary: £23,500 per annum (pro-rata)
Duration: 3 Year Fixed-Term Contract

The post-holder will support, promote and deliver an effective and efficient advocacy service aimed at older people, carers and those accessing community care, residential and nursing care.

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria

  • Have experience of delivering welfare rights, community care, health information, advice or advocacy
  • Experience of providing advocacy support and support in the resolution of complex queries
  • Experience in the use of computer databases
  • Have a full current driving licence and access to a car for business use, or other form of transport that meets the travel requirements of the post
