Part-time Assistant Play Worker required 20 hours per week, salary £6.22 per hour.

This post is funded through The Children's and Young Peoples Fund to June 2008, extension is subject to available funding. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the organisation, may be required to work some weekends.

The successful applicant will assist the After School Project Senior Play Worker in implementing a stimulating and varied programme of activities for children aged 5 - 12 years.

The person appointed will have NVQ Level 2 Child Care and experience of working in child care; genuine interest, motivation and enjoyment around working with children; knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Lower Ormeau community; good sense of humour, interpersonal and communication skills; responsible and caring approach.
