Regional Development Officers (Initially 2 years full-time)

Salary: NJC Senior Officer Grade 1 Point 31 (£25,320)

Hours of Work: 35 per week

The Foundation is inviting applications for two Regional Development Officers who will be employed to develop and implement local strategies for the sustainability and expansion of the Lifestart products and services in the Belfast and Lisburn areas (code LF RDO 002) and in Dublin (code LF RDO 003)

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

Essential

  • Have an Honours Degree or Equivalent in Education, Social Sciences, Early Years or Community Education and at least 3 years post qualifying experience in any of the above areas.
  • A proven track record in project and organisational development with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically
  • Have experience in:
  1. Researching and Measuring social need and service demand
  2. Promoting an organisation
  3. Networking
  • Have IT Skills e.g. (Word Processing, Power Point, Excel)
  • Have multi-tasking, time management, negotiation and excellent communication skills
  • Have a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.

Desirable

  • Have experience in: Community Development; Marketing; Facilitating Evaluation
