The post holder will be part of a busy support team and will be required to provide support and advice to residents between the ages of 16 and 25 within a safe, secure and supportive environment to promote independence.

The duties will involve ensuring support plans are agreed, implemented and reviewed on a monthly basis within an allocated key worker system.

This is a temporary position initially but may lead to a permanent position.

Support Worker (30 hours/week £6.18 per hour)

Essential Requirements for this post are

  • Knowledge of supported accommodation.
  • At least one year's working experience with homeless young people.
  • Experience of delivering, recording and maintaining support plans.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours covering evenings, overnights and weekends as required.
