The Director of VCU holds a senior post in the Urban Regeneration and Community Development Group.
The unit has the lead role in Government’s relations with the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Northern Ireland. The sector has played an important part in helping to build a peaceful society in Northern Ireland over the past 30 years, working in partnership with Government and public agencies and the community at large.
The Director of VCU will play a major role in influencing the direction of travel over the next few years and DSD is looking for a high calibre individual to discharge this responsibility.

This opportunity may be available as a secondment. At the end of the period of secondment, and subject to the agreement of all parties, the Department may make the position permanent.
