Borderwise is a Cross-Border Advice and Information project whose role is to deliver a range of cross-border advice, information and training initiatives in the Border region. The project is a joint partnership between Citizens Advice, N. Ireland, and the Citizens Information Board.
Citizens Advice who are the employing body, now wish to recruit the following post:
Borderwise Project Manager (Ref: BordPM/MatCover/Sept07)
Maternity Cover (Full Time) - Commencing January 2008 for 6 Months with the possibility of extension (Full Time)
NJC Salary Scale: PO3 - Sterling £31,653 - £32,487 (under review)
Based in Enniskillen, the Project Manager will manage and co-ordinate the activities of the project and provide a central support role in developing cross jurisdictional training, networking, information and policy work related to the Project activities.
Essential Experience include at least one year's experience of project development and management in the community, voluntary, private or statutory sectors, and at least one year's experience of managing staff. An understanding of the provision of advice and information to the public on Social Services and the role of Social Policy, strong project co-ordination & training skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of social inclusion and cross border issues, are essential.
A Secondment arrangement will be considered for this position.
