Based at: S.T.E.P., Dungannon and WaHep Project Craigavon in the first instance
Hours: 34 hours per week
Salary: £20, 295 pro rata

MAIN FUNCTION
The main function of this post is to make mainstream health, social services, education and other services more accessible to the Black Minority Ethnic and Migrant Worker communities. There will be two main strands to the post to cover the needs of both children and adults.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. Degree or 3rd level education
  2. Experience of work with BME/ Migrant Worker Community
  3. Experience of direct engagement with health and social services, education and other agencies to improve front line services
  4. Knowledge of current policies and policy development
  5. Ability to work across the statutory, voluntary and community sectors
  6. Good verbal and written communication skills
  7. Experience of community development
  8. Experience of monitoring and evaluation and report writing
  9. Have knowledge and experience of using computer software packages, including Microsoft office and writing own reports
  10. Applicants should hold current full driving licence (valid for use in UK) and have access to a car or transport which will permit the applicant to meet the requirements of the post.
