Salary £23,883 Per Year
Plus 7.5% Pension

Northern Ireland Environment Link (NIEL) is the networking and forum body for environmental organisations. This is a core post subject to funding, fulltime and based in Belfast.

Main Purposes of the post: To proactively promote membership. To support members. To organise events and activities for members and others. To publicise and promote environmental issues through publications and press liaison.

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and have at least two years experience, which includes the provision of information and advice, preparation of publications, website content management or media liaison. Excellent communication, interpersonal and ICT skills are also essential, as is the ability to undertake research and plan and manage a complex workload. Experience and understanding of the NGO and or/environmental sector is desirable, as is experience of working in a membership organisation.
