The main responsibilities of the Development Manager are:

  • Providing project shaping meetings to Level 1 (where requested by the Directors) and Level 2 applicants.
  • Working with Levels 1 and 2 Award winners (through a series of meetings and interim telephone support) over the course of the Award to help them shape their project, make progress towards their objectives and achieve real impact in their community.
  • Conducting financial status project shaping meetings with Award winners, with reference to the guidelines.
  • Providing additional support to Levels 1 and 2 Award winners (in the form of meetings and telephone advice) after the end of the Award period in order to help them sustain their projects or access new sources of funding.
  • Evaluating the success of Award winner's projects and effectiveness of UnLtd's contribution to their success as an integral part of the project shaping meetings.
  • Provide support to the Directors in assessing applicants.
  • To work on externally funded programmes as instructed by the Directors.
  • To report on externally funded programmes as directed.
  • Carry out marketing and outreach activities.
  • Assisting in the organisation and delivery of road shows and presentations.
  • Review service supplier agreements.
  • Organise seminars and briefings.
  • Facilitating workshops and in-house training where appropriate.
  • Support the Directors in submitting applications for funding and sponsorship.
  • Assist with identifying local partners and developing strategic relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of a library of resources and information.
  • Collate project monitoring and evaluation information and complete monitoring reports.
  • To perform any other related duties that may be necessary.

Salary: £24,342- £26,214 pro rata (plus pension contribution)
Hours: 21 hours per week
