The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Applications are invited for the following post in Londonderry:

Support Worker (with Catering Duties) – 20 Hours per Week
Ref: AMH/SW/05/51
Rate of Pay: £5.93 per Hour
Based at Clarendon Street Beacon Centre

The Support Worker will be required to be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to providing a quality service for people with mental health needs within a therapeutic environment. As a member of the staff team you will plan and participate in all activities. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in mental health.

Essential Criteria:
- Basic literacy and numeric skills
- Six months catering experience
- Experience of caring for individuals
- Proven experience in planning and organising activities.
