Application Procedure
Candidates wishing to be considered for the post must submit written applications by 4.00pm on Wednesday 6 September 2006. Applications received after this time and date will not he considered. Candidates are asked not to include copies of their curriculum vitae; rather they are asked to produce a letter of application which clearly addresses the stated criteria for the post, both essential and desirable.

Candidates may wish to provide the names and addresses of 2 referees who could comment on the candidate’s suitability for the post.
Interview Panel
The interview panel will consist of 4 persons representing Youth Music Belfast and the N.I. Community Relations Council.
Remuneration
A total inclusive fee of £15,000.00 will be paid to the person appointed to the post
Selection Process
All applications will be acknowledged on receipt. Candidates will be invited to attend for interview. In the event of there being a large number of applicants, the interview panel will draw up enhanced criteria for the purposes of short-listing. In this eventuality, only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.

It is expected that interviews will be held on Tuesday 26 Septemberat the City of Belfast School of Music, 99 Donegall Pass, Belfast BT7.
