This position involves coordinating the delivery of a seven month cross border pilot project that will strengthen the professional development of youth workers in preservice and inservice contexts. The post will be based in Belfast.
The post-holder will deliver an accredited global youth work course and work toward the accreditation of the course by the standard accrediting body in the south of Ireland.
The post also involves enhancing the development education content of existing undergraduate youth and community modules at the University Colleges of Cork and Maynooth.
Salary: £24,000 pro rata for a period of seven months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration of post: Seven months from the date of appointment
Project Partner: National Youth Council of Ireland
The post will be based in the offices of the Centre for Global Education, Belfast.
