Key Objectives of the Training & Development Officer

1. To support the development and delivery of training of the Playwork sector across Northern Ireland.
2. To ensure the delivery of a quality accessible service to users.
3. Provide training, advice and appropriate resources.

Applicants should possess

• A training qualification and a minimum 3 years experience within the last 5 years in training or community development.
• OR
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within the last 7 years.
• A proven track record in the development and delivery of training programmes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of issues facing local community groups and community development methodologies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of project development and implementation processes.
• Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate financial systems.
