There are vacancies at ADAPT NI for:

An Accessibility Officer

to promote best practice in access provision. To develop and deliver an access appraisal service involving access audits, report writing, providing information and advice procedures and to assist with ADAPT Projects and other reasonable duties. Applicants should have:

Essential Criteria

• A degree in an appropriate building related discipline OR HNC/HND or NVQ level 4or 5 in a building related discipline OR Equivalent.
• To be able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Driving Licence / Access to personal transport.

One or more Project Workers

to support the organisation of accessibility projects and provide administration support.

Essential Criteria

At least one year’s experience in a comparable working environment.

Both posts require sensitivity to disability issues. Contracts are initially for one year (may be extended). Salary subject to experience. ADAPT strives to be an Equal Opportunities Employer.
