The WRDA works throughout Northern Ireland providing development support to women’s groups and networks so that women’s social, political, and economic inequalities can be redressed. We prioritise work that targets women who are most disadvantaged.
We are currently recruiting for a worker to lead the development of two new businesses within the social economy sector. The project will investigate opportunities for rural women to bid for public sector contracts and support women to take forward social economy activities based on the findings of market research. It will also contribute to dialogue within the women’s and community sectors, and between social economy projects and public sector bodies to promote the development of the social economy as a delivery agent for government and voluntary sector programmes.
Contract: two years fixed term.
Salary: £25,911 per annum (NJC pts.36 - 37)
For an application pack please email or write, enclosing an A4 SAE, to The Administrator.
