The Rainbow Project has been at the forefront of supporting gay and bisexual men in Northern Ireland since its establishment in 1994. We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to fill the following post:
Co Cultural Counsellor
3 year contract
£21, 000 per annum
You will be a confident out gay or bisexual man with a recognised counselling qualification and an appropriate understanding of the mental health needs of young gay and bisexual men. You will have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience, working one-to-one and within group settings that include young people. You will have a knowledge of implementing child protection policies and procedures appropriate to a counselling setting. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to engage constructively with young people.
