Training for Women Network Ltd (TWN) is a registered charity whose main aim is to support, promote and advance opportunities for women in Northern Ireland. TWN functions as a membership network, intermediary funding body and a commercial enterprise.

As part of its continued growth and development TWN are seeking to recruit a Training & Development Officer to join its successful team

The main duties of the role includesto promote and assist in the development of TWN as a training organisation by:

  • Assisting the Senior Training & Development Officer in identifying client needs, niche markets and products
  • Developing programmes and products to meet client and market needs
  • Deliver training programmes to targeted clients

Essential Criteria

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • relevant 3rd level qualification
  • relevant professional training and development qualification or
  • assessor training qualification (A1 Internal Assessor Award & V1 Internal Verifier Award)
  • at least 2 years experience in the design, co-ordination and delivery of education/training
  • experience of marketing and evaluation of training programmes; managing train the trainer and staff development programmes
  • ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, at all levels
