Triskele is an independent organisation that provides support to community development projects in the Border region including projects funded under the Community Development Support Programme, the Family Resource Centres Programme, and Interreg IIIA. Triskele also carries out training and research in the counties on both sides of the border.
As part of its development, Triskele wishes to recruit 2 x Community Development Workers, whose primary role will be to empower the Traveller community to participate in the decision making process, planning provision and delivery of appropriate services to their community in counties Cavan, Monaghan and Louth.
This project recognises that there are many determinants of the health of Travellers. The post holders will therefore work in partnership with Travellers, the HSE, local communities, and relevant organisations and agencies in developing appropriate responses that will positively influence and enhance the health and social gain of the Traveller community.

The salary scale starts at €34,000. A panel may be formed. Job sharing for these posts will be considered.
