Fermanagh Volunteer Centre is a thriving Centre promoting and developing volunteering and volunteer opportunities with high quality volunteer involving organisations. The Centre also supports the Millennium Volunteer Programme and a Community Safety Advisor's Project.

The Centre requires a Manager with the following essential criteria:

1. a 3rd level qualification or equivalent
2. 3 years' recent experience in a support/development role
3. at least 2 years' experience in project management and development
4. at least 1 year's continuous experience of staff management
5. experience of working with volunteers
6. experience of providing information and advice to a variety of organisations.

The post-holder will be responsible for the promotion of volunteering and the continued support of volunteers and volunteer involving organisations.

The post is funded by the Department for Social Development until 31 March 2009.

The Volunteer Development Agency is carrying out the recruitment process on behalf of the Centre.
