Criteria essential

  1. A relevant NVQ 2 with 3 years of experience of working with age range or NVQ 3 with practical experience of working with age range.
  2. An understanding of 'quality play' opportunities for children.
  3. A knowledge of organising good quality activities e.g. arts and crafts.
  4. Ability to work on own initiative.
  5. An awareness of current childcare legislation (i.e children's order).
