Responsible for: Implementing outcome based development processes in the Inner North Belfast area to facilitate participation in activities which inspire and sustain good relations between communities from distinctly different traditions.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work on his / her own initiative while at the same time successfully meet the required aims / objectives / milestones of the operational plan and have an affinity with the promotion of community development at all levels of society and be people orientated

The successful candidate also must have as essential criteria:

• A 3rd level qualification in a discipline relevant to the post, plus:

1. Have at least 3 years experience of working in a community setting
2. Possess an understanding and supportive approach to “Good Relations”
3. Ability to establish working relationships with a variety of people, organisations and agencies
4. Possess a sound working knowledge of current issues in Inner North Belfast
5. Demonstrate ability to organise specific events
6. Experience of identifying need and delivering education training
7. Experience of Monitoring and Evaluation and be able to demonstrate what is meant by an Outcome based approach
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
9. Good organisational and social skills
