The post holder will be part of a busy casework team and will be required to provide specialist advice, advocacy and representation on housing debt, homelessness and issues relating to renting accommodation. S/he may also contribute to the delivery of training and legal information materials.

Essential requirements

Essential requirements for the post include:

• at least 12 months full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience gained over the last five years, in providing advice to the public in a social welfare context; (including an element of housing advice)
• experience of complex casework.
