The post holder will be responsible for providing a front line receptionist service for the office, maintaining all manual and computerized filing systems and for ensuring the office has effective administrative practices and procedures. In addition he/she will assist in the provision of a secretarial to the Enterprise Council Board.

  1. To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director.
  2. To provide administrative and secretarial support for the Chairperson/Vice Chairpersons of the Enterprise Council Board as and when required.
  3. To deal with general enquiries from members of the public, filter telephone calls and on behalf of the CEO take messages in his/her absence.
  4. To arrange meetings and appointments on behalf of the CEO, maintain his/her diary and, when required, make appropriate travel arrangements.
  5. To develop and maintain appropriate filing and recording systems, both manual and computerised.
  6. To develop and maintain a financial management system including petty cash and bank transaction records.
  7. To organise council meetings, events and conferences.
  8. To assist the CEO in providing a secretariat for the Enterprise Council, including minute taking.
  9. To manage the collation and distribution of information mailings to all relevant groups/organisations.
  10. To ensure all office equipment is adequately maintained and ensure adequate stationery supplies are maintained.
  11. To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by the Enterprise Council in line with the status of the post.
