Computers and the internet are wonderful sources of information, communication and entertainment for everyone. That's why Help the Aged offer IT training for older people, delivered by volunteers across Northern Ireland, in the heart of the community. We're keen to develop this service to reach more older people. Your role will prove crucial.
You will recruit new volunteers from every walk of life, including former course participants, who will deliver our ICT training to older people. At the same time you will work with a team to develop new and existing volunteer opportunities.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with other voluntary and community organisations. You will also have demonstrable experience in managing people remotely. The role will require you to travel extensively around Northern Ireland.
