Concern is currently looking for a Fundraising Assistant to support a vibrant and hectic fundraising team working on job share for two days a week until 24 December 2008.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, NI, the successful candidate will help to maximise Concern’s fundraising potential from existing, new and potential supporters and provide excellent donor fulfilment. Working as part of the Fundraising Development Team, the Fundraising Assistant will have a supporting role in helping the department reach strategic targets and budgets.
We are seeking an excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills who has the ability and flair to handle a number of tasks and prioritise effectively, with the confidence to work both on their own initiative and as part of a highly motivated team.
Applicants must have strong planning, organisational and communication skills, coupled with computer competencies and knowledge of marketing/relationship databases. Educated to ‘A’ Level standard, a qualification in marketing would be an advantage and/or at least 3 years experience in a busy and varied office environment. While not essential, previous relevant experience in a similar organisation would be a distinct advantage.
