Main Responsibilities:

• To support the voluntary youth sector infrastructure at regional and local level focusing on Newry and Fermanagh and the border counties of Cavan and Dundalk to develop their capacity to be more inclusive and to provide awareness raising training in equality issues and tackling hate crime/racism and homophobia.
• To develop networking opportunities for voluntary youth organisations on a North/South basis to explore commonalities and share effective practice.

The successful applicant will have:

• a third level qualification relevant to the post;
• a minimum of three years experience in the planning and delivery of training programmes;
• experience of developing and managing initiatives on an interagency basis.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 6 October 2008 at 4.00pm.
