Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network wish to recruit a

Training and Development Officer

For the Poverty Awareness Project

NIAPN in partnership with Save the Children

Salary: £20,353 pa pro-rata

Project Term: 35 hours per week for 7 months or 28 hours per week for 8 months

Purpose:

To promote and present a participative training programme on poverty and social exclusion to target groups and disadvantaged communities.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • A professional training qualification and 3 years experience OR a minimum of five years experience in presenting education programmes (preferably within the last five years)
  • A minimum of three years experience of community development/anti-poverty work
  • Knowledge and understanding of anti-poverty issues in Northern Ireland
