Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: NICS Staff Officer scale: £21,333 - £29,335 (under review)
The Finance Manager will have responsibility for providing strong and effective leadership in the delivery of a comprehensive, financial management service across a number of business units in EGSA to ensure financial stability. The post-holder will report to the Director and will have line management responsibility for a staff team.
Among a range of essential criteria applicants must hold a third level qualification in a Finance related discipline and GCSE English and Maths or have 3 years experience in a similar position.
S/he must have a minimum of 3 years experience of implementing and operating financial systems and procedures within good practice and 2 years experience of staff management.
The post-holder will be employed on a temporary contract for a 5 month period with a possibility of extension for a further 3 months (Subject to funding.)
It is EGSA’s normal practice to commence at the bottom of the salary scale.
