To contribute to the organisation and delivery of personal and social development skills to young people aged 16-25, through the provision of information and communication technology projects which will enable them to progress into further education, training or employment.

The worker will also engage also in group work, community relations and other areas relating to the Bytes Curriculum.

Essential Criteria

1. Be fully competent ICT user with a minimum of IT NVQ level 2 or equivalent and should be familiar with digital media software from a range such as graphics, web development, video production, animation and/or music packages.
2. Some evidence of media skills is required at interview.
3. Show evidence of ability to deliver, plan, organise and evaluate programmes with unattached 16-25 year old in a training or youth work environment that address the expressed needs of young people at risk.
4. Have a recognised training or youth work qualification at Level 3 or be currently working towards one.
5. Experience of administration and reporting procedures.

Desirable Criteria

1. Ability to drive with access to own vehicle.Experience of fundraising activities.
2. Experience of working in partnerships within the community and voluntary sector.
