Fáilte Feirste Thiar is the tourism subsidiary of the West Belfast Partnership Board. We would like to appoint two part time Training Coordinators to oversee the end of one training programme and the implementation of another. Applicants may apply for both posts.

Training Coordinator - Post 1- NJC Scale 6.27
£ 21,588 per annum (pro rata) + 8% non contributory pension
10 hours per week until the end of June 2008.

Possibility of additional hours being secured with extensions subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

Training Coordinator - Post 2 – NJC Scale 6.27
£21,588 per annum (pro rata)
20 hours per week until the end of March 2007.

Applicants for both posts must be able to demonstrate experience in:

  1. Management and supervision of projects including recruitment of participants, organisation of courses, liaison with training providers.
  2. Provision of support, information and advice to the community in relation to learner progression, mentoring support and signposting.
  3. Managing finance, budgets and administration of project.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal commitment, drive and enthusiasm.
  5. Experience of using Microsoft Office computer packages including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Preference may be give to candidates who have experience in the community sector.
