Youth Initiatives is inviting applications for the post of Culture Crosslinks Project Worker for West Belfast– Part time
The Culture Crosslinks Project is a cross-community arts-based youthwork programme for 14-18 year olds which seeks to promote good community relations for young people in the Belfast area. Partnering with two other organisations, Oasis Caring in Action in East Belfast and the Chinese Welfare Association, the Project Worker for Youth Initiatives in West Belfast will be responsible for helping to design and implement creative arts courses and community relations training weekends, and encouraging young people from the Youth Initiatives catchment area of West Belfast to participate in the programme.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with excellent communication skills, experience of working with young people and skills in the Creative Arts.
The post is 20 hours per week - funded through June 2008
Salary range between £15,000 - £17,000 pro rata
