The Indian Community Centre is seeking to appoint a Good Relations Officer to

• Increase ICCs awareness about good relations.
• Explore issues facing ICC with regard to the promotion of good relations between people of different political opinion, religious background or racial group; and
• Develop and implement a Good Relations Strategy between local and Indian Communities.

Experience in community work and knowledge of ethnic minority issue would be an advantage.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week).

Funding is secured until March 2008

Salary: £18,000 per annum (with a 3 month probationary period)
