Our state-of-the-art supported living service in Bangor is due to open soon and will provide cutting-edge services to people with learning disabilities. The self-contained modern apartments will be equipped with the latest facilities and IT that will enable people with a learning disability to lead a full and active life.
As a key part of the team at one of our newest and most exciting services, you'll help tenants achieve their goals and live richer, fuller lives. You'll do so by supporting tenants to carry out a range of tasks including everything from domestic duties and housing management through to relationships and leisure activities. Adaptability and flexibility is therefore essential, along with the ability to build solid, trusting and supportive relationships. Knowledge of the needs of people with a learning disability would also prove invaluable, as would some experience of caring for others.
