Overall responsibilities of the post

  1. Primary responsibility is to contribute to the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development and well being of all children (aged 3 months to 4 years) utilising childcare services, within a safe, respectful, creative, fun-physical and social environment.
  2. Implement appropriate development play opportunities and programmes as directed by the Childcare Coordinator within a fun and creative environment.
  3. Ensure that every child’s welfare and protection from abuse is paramount, by ensuring all organisational childcare and child protection policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Greenway Women's Group exists to provide women within the Cregagh Estate, Castlereagh Borough, Greater Belfast and beyond, positive opportunities for development by breaking down barriers which prevent women’s full participation in society.

We provide four key elements in supporting and empowering local women to engage with education, training, volunteering, employment and lifelong learning opportunities

  1. Essential skills supporting women towards level one and two accreditation.
  2. Education courses providing 200+ training places annually.
  3. Volunteering opportunities to implement and develop newly learned skills and provide on site training.
  4. Affordable, accessible, on site childcare services which are paramount in enabling local women to access all of our education and training services.
