The Targeting Access to Service, Skills and Knowledge (TASSK) partnership is a representative group of statutory, voluntary and community organisations that have been successful in attracting NOF (and match) funding toward the realisation of a Healthy Living Centre for the areas of Craigavon and Banbridge. TASSK’s main purpose is to provide services and skills to those marginalised from current health provision in its many forms. Using partnership and community development approaches, TASSK brings together projects / initiatives aimed at addressing local aspects of disadvantage and poor health. These range across mental health, caring addiction, physical wellbeing, life skills, informed choice and service accessibility.
Through support from the Banbridge Business Community, Southern Health and Social Care Trust and the Southern Investing in Health Partnership, resources have been made available to facilitate the development of a new and innovative response to the issue of suicide. The Protect Life Project will be managed by TASSK Healthy Living Centre and will be based jointly between the GP Surgery, Banbridge and TASSK HLC.
TASSK is a company limited by guarantee and employs a core staff team, as well as facilitating the employment of a number of project staff. TASSK are presently recruiting for a Protect Life Project Coordinator.
