The Trócaire Northern Ireland office, which is based in Belfast, conducts a wide range of activities including Fundraising, Advocacy, Campaigning and Development Education. It currently employs 14 staff members and we are now looking for two talented individuals to join our Belfast team:

Education Officer – Maternity Cover (6 months)

We are looking to appoint an Education Officer, based in Belfast, to join our Education Unit. The scope of the role is to promote a global and justice perspective within the formal and non-formal education sectors in Northern Ireland and in the context of Trócaire’s overall strategic plan.

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant third level qualification (preferably a teaching qualification)
• Knowledge of the current NI schools curriculum
• Two years relevant experience (including teaching experience)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Current driving license and access to a car

Marketing Officer Northern Ireland – 2 Year Contract

We are looking to appoint a Marketing Officer, based in Belfast, to join our Fundraising and Marketing Unit. The Marketing Officer will take responsibility for running new and existing Fundraising and Marketing initiatives in Northern Ireland.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing or other relevant field
• Three years experience in the management of marketing or strategic fundraising campaigns
• Experience in delivering major projects to targets and deadlines
• Experience in developing above the line advertising campaigns
• Experience in budget forecasting and management
