A vacancy has arisen for a Transport Project Officer for 1 year to cover secondment. Rural Link Community Transport is a community based organisation managing a programme of community transport activities in the Omagh District Council area.

Rural Link Community Transport Ltd exists to meet the transport needs of those who live in rural areas and covers the Omagh District Council area. It is our aim to provide reliable, accessible and affordable transport for those who are otherwise unable to access mainstream public transport. This is either due to their location or the lack of public service provision or because of a disability.

Applicants should be educated to third level standard and have two years experience of the community and voluntary sector or have at least five years experience of the community and voluntary sector; have an understanding of community development and community relations issues in a rural setting and have experience of liaising with statutory agencies, the private sector and community/voluntary organisations.

Salary £22,512 per annum
The post is temporary for one year to cover secondment
