The Workers' Educational Association (NI) would like to make the following appointment:
Development Officer – Older People and Advocacy (Ref: AP1)
The Development Officer will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering a programme of learning that will build the capacity of older people to advocate for change. The programme will be delivered as part of a wider partnership that includes Help the Aged, Age Concern and Queen’s University.
The Development Officer must have a minimum of three years’ experience developing and delivering programmes in a training/educational environment and a demonstrable understanding of the nature of advocacy. A university degree is an essential requirement.
The post will be based in the WEA’s Head Office, Belfast. Starting salary: £22,287.
