SHAC Housing Association invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Director of Operations.

Reporting to the Chief Executive the successful candidate, who will already be accustomed to working at senior level, will be responsible for the direction and effective management of the Association's housing management, client support, and property maintenance functions.

As a member of the senior management team, he/she will contribute to the formulation and achievement of the Association's overall strategies, policies, plans, practices and performance systems.The Director of Operations will develop and implement strategies and plans to maximise the return on the Association’s portfolio of properties while taking account of its tenant support responsibilities.

By the effective management of the Housing, Support and Property Services teams the successful candidate will ensure that the Association’s housing stock is maintained and presented to the required standards and that high occupancy levels are achieved.

A strategic thinker, and experienced manager of people the successful candidate will be committed to the inclusion and involvement of all interested stakeholders in the provision of a quality housing service.
