The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Due to ongoing development the Association is currently interested in recruiting a Manager for their supported housing accommodation scheme in Bangor.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a caring attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. They will manage a supported housing scheme, promote the core values of NIAMH, motivate residents and provide supervision and support to staff.

Essential Criteria:

  • A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
  • Registered Nurse with current pin number with the NMC.
  • A minimum of 3 year’s mental health experience working in community care, supported housing or hospital setting.

Applicants will be expected to work flexibly on a shift basis, which will include evening, weekend and night cover.
