The postholder will assist the Director of Corporate Services in the delivery of a comprehensive financial service to the organisation. S/He will be responsible for the maintenance of efficient and effective financial management information systems thus ensuring the organisation meets statutory and legal requirements in the areas of finance and administration.

Essential Criteria to include:

• A recognised accounting qualification with at least two years proven post qualification experience in a wide ranging accounting environment OR
• At least five years proven experience of a wide ranging accounting environment to include accounts preparation, budget and forecast preparation and report writing.
• Experience of producing financial and management accounts.
• Experience of managing and motivating staff.
