Ashton Community Trust is currently seeking to fill one vacancy for an Employer Support Worker. This is a new and challenging role, created to increase employment opportunities for unemployed residents in North Belfast.

The postholder will be expected to develop a wide range of qualitative contacts with employers, in the promotion of job placements for clients on paid work, through temporary contracts.

Essential Criteria

• Third level qualification relevant to the role OR 3 years experience in working with employers in a job placement or job matching capacity.
• Ability to market services to a commercial audience.

Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of employability issues, working with unemployed adults and have a good knowledge of recruitment and selection procedures.

Salary: £20,479.69 (gross) per annum plus 7% Employer pension contribution.

The contract will last until March 2011.
