EXCITING CHALLENGING OPPORTUNITY TO BE PART OF EMERGING NEW NETWORK NORTHERN IRELAND RURAL WOMEN'S NETWORK - (NIRWN)

NIRWN is seeking to appoint its first staff team in this innovative programme funded by the EU
Programme for Building Sustainable Prosperity.

Co-Ordinator - REF: CO001
Purpose of post: This post will be based in the Cookstown/Dungannon area but will have a region-wide brief for rural women. The Coordinator will work closely with the Directors to develop and establish this new rural women's network; to co-ordinate and manage the programme of work; support the staff team; be the public face of the organisation and hold a policy remit across the rural and women's sectors.

Salary: £30, 843 + pension contribution

Policy Worker - REF: PW001
Purpose of post: To impact on rural women's access and capacity in terms of decision-making, to increase their skills in lobbying and policy consultation and to make responses to policy initiatives incorporating the perspective and articulating the needs of rural women. To be based in the Cookstown/Dungannon area.

Salary: £26,187 + pension contribution
Closing Date: Friday 28th July
Interview:Week beginning 7th August

Administrator - REF: AD001
This post will be based in the Cookstown/Dungannon area and will have responsibility for finance and administration of NIRWN.
Salary: £15,825 + pension contribution
Closing Date: Monday 24th July
Interview:Week beginning 7th August

Development Officers - REF: DO001
These 2 posts will primarily cover the Antrim, Down and Armagh areas with a key remit for capacity building and developing weak community infrastructure for rural women. Location yet to be decided.
Salary: £24,708 + pension contribution

Interview:Week beginning 7th August


Development Officer - REF: DO002
This post will be based in the Cookstown/Dungannon area and will focus on training, mentoring support and capacity building. It will have a region-wide remit.
