These trainee positions are aimed at people who are interested in active citizenship, improving community relations and have some youth work experience. The successful applicants will work on the ‘Away from Violence’ project, supporting groups of young people to identify how they are affected by violence and develop active citizenship projects to address this within communities and on a cross-community basis.

The post holders will receive ongoing youth-work training from Public Achievement and through the George Williams (YMCA) College.
Project supported by International Fund for Ireland Community Bridges Programme, and the Department for Education.
