Re-Advertisement Job Purpose: Based at our Headquarters in Mallusk, Co.Antrim, the successful applicant will be expected to provide professional, effective and efficient administrative support services to the Board, CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT). This will include convening and servicing Ireland wide Board meetings, SMT meetings and undertaking significant liaison internally and externally with senior officers in and external to Extern.

Contract Status: Permanent (subject to continuous funding)

Salary: Grade 4, Currently £16,359 rising to £20,671 per annum (Subject to Review). (For commencement beyond the first point on salary scale please refer to Salary Policy).

Hours: Full-Time/37.5 per week (inclusive of meal breaks)

Location: Hydepark House, 54 Mallusk Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 4WU.

Payment: Monthly directly into bank account (via BACS).

Holidays: 26 days on entry to grade plus 11 statutory days per annum. Holiday entitlement increases after 3 and 5 years' service.

Pension Scheme: Contributory pension scheme. Employer contribution 6.5%, employee contribution minimum of 3.5% of salary. Scheme membership includes additional benefits of Life Assurance and Permanent Health Insurance. Further details provided on selection.

Essential Criteria:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject OR 2 'A' Levels and GCSE English Language at Grade C or above.
  • A minimum of 2 years' cumulative experience as a Personal Assistant to a middle manager (s) which demonstrates that they have provided a range of services broadly similar to those outlined in the job description.
  • Must be able to produce accurate written documents on a word processing package to a standard equivalent to 35 words per minute and to use Microsoft Office packages.
  • When completing an application form you must provide information which shows your reporting lines and indicates that you are /were working directly for a middle manager (s).
