Main Duties

  1. To provide a first point of contact for all clients, referrals, voluntary and statutory.
  2. To ensure the co-ordination and upkeep of a resource library for use by the local community staff, students and other agencies.
  3. To implement a system of recording and maintaining records. To ensure a constant and adequate level of information resources.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  1. Good Standard of Education with at least GCSE English A to C or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years working in a similar environment or working with the general public.
  3. IT Qualification e.g ECDL, CLAIT or similar.
  4. Experience of working with people who are distressed/vulnerable.
  5. 2 years experience in organising events, conferences, mail shots etc.
  6. Previous experience of information gathering/storing and sharing/dissemination.
  7. Excellent communication skills oral and written.
  8. Previous experience of record keeping, filing and financial systems.

Working outside office hours will be required.
