The Lifestart Foundation is inviting applications for the post of Regional Development Officer who will be employed to develop and implement local strategies for the sustainability and expansion of the Lifestart product and service.

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria

Essential

1. Have an Honours Degree or Equivalent in Education, Social Sciences, Early Years or Community Education and at least 3 years post qualifying experience in any of the above areas.

2. A proven track record in project and organisational development with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically.

3. Have experience in:

• measuring social need
• procuring funding from a range of funding bodies
• promoting an organisation.

4. Have IT Skills e.g. (Word Processing, Power Point, Excel).

5. Have multi-tasking, time management and communication skills.

6. Have a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.

Desirable

Have experience in:

• community Development
• marketing
• facilitating and supporting evaluation.

Salary: £24,708 (NJC Senior Officer Grade 1 Point 31)

Hours of Work: 35 per week
