The Count Me In (Social Buddies) Project supports the aspirations of children and young people with a learning disability to participate fully in their local community. The Project will recruit and train social buddy volunteers, to provide them with support to be included in play and youth provision.

Full Time - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary £21,667

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant recognised Teaching, Youth and Community or Health and Personal Social Services Professional Qualification and/or at least 3 years experience of working with disadvantaged children and young people.
• Experience of working with volunteers in a supervisory capacity.
