Lifestart is a home based, educational programme, specifically for parents of children from birth to five years of age.

The Lifestart Foundation inviting applications for the post of Executive Director
(Initially two years full time)

Salary: NJC PO3 – Point 38
Hours of Work: 35 per week

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

Essential

1. Have an honours degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, early years or community education and at least five years post qualifying experience in any of the above areas.

Have experience at managerial level in:

1. managing personnel
2. procuring funding from a range of funding bodies
3. promoting an organisation
4. have IT skills eg (word processing, Powerpoint, Excel)
5. have a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes. (The post will entail travelling to Lifestart Projects throughout Ireland.)

Desirable

1. Have experience at managerial level in:

• strategic planning
• reviewing and implementing policies relating to early years
• managing evaluations
