To plan, develop, coordinate and review ENABLE's fundraising plan in support of ENABLE's Strategic and Operational plans.
To manage and develop ENABLE's communications and publications.
To develop ENABLE's volunteer base in support of the various projects and services offered by the organisation.
Fundraising (60%)
- To coordinate the planning, organisation and management of ENABLE’s self generated fundraising activities/events liaising closely with the relevant organisation or individual.
- To identify major UK trusts and other funding sources and prepare and submissions to the same.
- To coordinate all funding applications and sponsorship proposal (including budgets) liaising closely with Project Manager and other ENABLE staff as appropriate.
- To coordinate, analyse, monitor and evaluate all fundraising events and applications in line with requirements.
- To establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with all funders and sponsors including accurate and systematic updating of the income/donor records.
- Maintain budgets and other financial records related to the expenditures and income from fundraising related events.
Communications (20%)
- To manage, edit and control ENABLE’s publications design and output including producing an ENABLE newsletter, ENABLE reports, project literature and information leaflets and website content.
- To write and/or commission project literature, communication documents and other support materials and
- To manage the relationship with outside agencies engaged on the production of materials, such as designers and printers.
Volunteer Recruitment and Management (20%)
- To sustain and develop ENABLE's volunteer base through targeted recruitment and retention programmes.
- To arrange the provision of ongoing appropriate training for volunteers.
- To ensure the effective supervision of volunteers.
- To maintain a volunteer database.
Other Duties
- To represent ENABLE as appropriate on outside bodies, working groups, and events.
- To contribute to the promotion of ENABLE.
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as ENABLE may from time to time require.
